Doucheritueel

We also recommend looking at the ingredients of your shampoo. For instance, harsh sulphates can damage natural oils. If you want to know more about sulphates, read our blog on sulphates. The pH level of your shampoo also affects the breakage of your hair. We recommend going for a pH-neutral shampoo. Too high or too low a pH can cause hair breakage.

Want to make the most of your own natural oils in hair? Then comb your hair before washing it. This way, you distribute the natural oils evenly throughout the hair. This way, you create a protective layer for the hair strands before they enter the washing session. And this protective layer our frizzy locks could really use!
