Hoe ik de Kérastase Blond Absolu producten heb ervaren

For blonde hair to shine beautifully, it needs proper care. Not every shampoo is suitable for this, which is why it is good to use products especially for bleached hair. This will keep your bleached hair's colour beautiful for longer. The Kérastase Blond Absolu range really has the perfect care for bleached hair and I'll explain why.

Mijn natuurlijke haarkleur is donkerblond, maar sinds een tijdje heb ik highlights die mijn haar een stuk lichter maken. Mijn haar is snel droog, mede door de highlights, dus producten die goede hydratatie en voeding geven vind ik erg belangrijk. Daarom was ik razend enthousiast om deze producten uit te proberen.

Mijn ervaring 

First, I used the Blond Absolu Bain Lumiere Shampoo. This is a nourishing cleanser and ideal for light hair, among other things. I always wash my hair twice, first to remove any product residue and then to neutralise my hair. While massaging it into my hair, I noticed that the shampoo foams well and has a really lovely fragrance. Because the shampoo foams well, I really felt that my hair was intensely cleansed.

This shampoo is for daily use, and as a complement there is also the Blond Absolu Bain Ultra-Violet Shampoo, a purple shampoo against yellow tones. I don't use this one every time I wash my hair, but only when I find that the yellow undertones need some neutralisation (usually once a week). The Ultra-Violet shampoo lathers well and, like the other products, smells really great. Really a super good shampoo for bleached hair. After applying the shampoo, I left it on for three minutes and then rinsed well.

After washing and rinsing my hair twice, I applied the Blond Absolu Masque Ultra-Violet. The hair mask is purple in colour, and you only need a small amount of it. This is super, of course, as it allows you to use it for a long time. My hair immediately became smoother and softer while applying this mask. To give my hair extra nourishment, I let it soak in for ten minutes and rubbed in the ends extra well, as they always need some extra care. After rinsing out this mask, my hair felt really mega smooth and nourished. For me, it really is the best hair mask for bleached hair.

Because my hair has become a bit drier due to the highlights, I also use the Blond Absolu Cicaflash Fondant after the hair mask. I don't do this with every wash but usually once a week to give my hair extra nourishment, and when I have some 'me-time'. The formula of this product provides the deep nourishment of a hair mask, but with the light finish of a conditioner. The tube contains a shiny gel with a lavender colour. I applied this too and massaged it in extra at the tips. After about three minutes, I rinsed my hair thoroughly. With masks and conditioners, it is really important to rinse the hair well. Otherwise, there is a chance that it will weigh it down and lose its volume.

After washing and grooming my hair, it was time to style it. I style my hair regularly, so I was super happy that this line also contains a heat protector. Of course, Kérastase wouldn't be Kérastase if this product was just a heat protector. The Blond Absolu Cicaplasme Treatment is an intensive, leave-in hair mask that brightens hair. The cream is shimmering and lavender-coloured and I really got completely hooked on this product. I apply it to towel-dried hair, then blow-dry it and style it with the steampod. And really, I am not exaggerating, that smell! Because the product smells so mega nice and it makes my hair shiny, I also apply it to the ends of my hair every night before I go to sleep for extra hydration. After using these products, my hair really has exactly the blonde colour I want and looks super cared for and beautifully shiny. I am super happy with the results and definitely recommend it for all ladies with blonde and highlighted hair.
